Updating Virginia's projected scholarship chart and breaking down what's next for the Cavaliers on the recruiting trail after Chance Mallory committed to UVA Friday.

Mallory became the first member of the program’s 2025 class. He will join a point guard corps that, on its present track, will include sophomore Elijah Gertrude, redshirt freshman Christian Bliss and sophomore Dai Dai Ames, a Kansas State transfer.

During his junior season at Saint Anne's-Belfield, Mallory averaged 26.0 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 2.7 steals per game as he led the Saints to the VISAA Division I state championship game. He also became the program's all-time leading scorer.
