Skate., formerly known as Skate 4, was first announced during EA Play way back in 2020, but at the time was stated as "very early" in development. Since then, Full Circle has kept the community up to date with closed community playtests of early builds and plenty of updates on where the game is at via its "The Board Room" video series.

Years ago, EA announced it was making a new Skate game after fans demanded it. Now, we finally have a release window for the upcoming reboot, which isn’t called Skate 4. You’ll be able to play the new Skate in 2025 via Early Access.

EA ’s skate. will be making its long-awaited return, at least in early access form. The skateboarding video game series was launched in 2007, following an everyday skater as he rises to fame in the sport. The franchise received three more installments, the last of which was released in 2010.
