Ravichandran Ashwin scored his sixth test hundred as he and Ravindra Jadeja dug India's cricketers out of trouble against Bangladesh on day one of the first test.

The Indian cricket team will begin their home season on September 19 with a two-match test series against Bangladesh, which will be followed by three T20Is.
