One person has been shot and killed in east Charlotte, according to Medic. Officials state the shooting occurred in the 1600 block of Eastcrest Drive. Medic stated when they arrived on scene they pronounced the victim dead.

One person has been seriously hurt following a shooting in northeast Charlotte Saturday morning, according to MEDIC.

The crash was reported around 1:20 a.m. on Sunday near the intersection of Edgewater Drive and South Blvd. Medic says two people were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries and one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
