More than a decade after Skate 3 graced our seventh-gen consoles (we’re in the ninth-gen now, btw), a new Skate game is dropping next year. Developed by Full Circle Games, Skate 4 – or rather, skate.

Years ago, EA announced it was making a new Skate game after fans demanded it. Now, we finally have a release window for the upcoming reboot, which isn’t called Skate 4. You’ll be able to play the new Skate in 2025 via Early Access.

Skate., formerly known as Skate 4, was first announced during EA Play way back in 2020, but at the time was stated as "very early" in development. Since then, Full Circle has kept the community up to date with closed community playtests of early builds and plenty of updates on where the game is at via its "The Board Room" video series.
