Elon Musk announced in July that he would be moving all of his remaining companies to Texas after a public feud with California Governor Gavin Newsom. This week, he announced where exactly his social media company X will land — and it might not be where many expected.
Elon Musk officially moves X headquarters from California to Texas
New court filings revealed that X's headquarters are now in Bastrop, Texas, Forbes reports. Musk originally stated that the company would move from San Francisco to Austin. But now, Musk appears to have instead chosen to make X's home base only about 30 miles east of the tech-dominated city where Tesla's headquarters are located.
